Coronavirus Information
All Church of England churches are now closed to the public until further notice.
Our regular services are now online. Below you will find our weekly newsletter, readings for each day of the week and a sermon and prayers for every Sunday. We are holding services using Zoom on Thursdays at 10.15 am and will be starting services on Sundays at 10.15 am from 24th May. Please contact Revd Anne-Marie Renshaw at amlrenshaw@btinternet.com if you would like to join these services.
Funerals can only take place at a Crematorium or at the graveside and with only the immediate family of the deceased present. Families are encouraged to hold a memorial service at a later date. Burials of ashes cannot take place at the present time.
We appreciate that these are difficult times for everyone and are doing our best to help and support our baptism families, wedding couples and the recently bereaved.
Everyone is now asked to stay at home as much as possible. The Church of England has a range of resources to help you pray at home and follow services that are being streamed live. You can find these at https://www.churchofengland.org/more/media-centre/church-online .
The clergy will be saying prayers daily either in church or at home and will welcome your prayer requests.
The food bank is still operating. Donations can be left in the entrance hall at St Luke’s Church 10 am to 4 pm every day.
Please check this page or our Facebook pages for updates.
